Donations to Fire Victim in Tambora – West Jakarta |
Just 4 days after the feast of Eid-al Fitr, 24 August 2012, Cheerful atmosphere in order to welcome Eid al-Fitr holiday to enjoy with family turned into grief. Blazes that hardly know time, burning dozens of homes, in densely populated residential areas in Tambora, West Jakarta
The fire occurred near the offices of Bank OCBC NISP branch Jembatan Lima destroyed 90 houses that consist of 5 RT. Residents are required to evacuate to shelter like a mosques. More touching, those who are evacuate consists of children up the adult, and they have to stay with the treasures that they can saved from the flames and sleep only with mats and carpets. The fire disaster was only leaving only sadness, but also pain and trauma, especially for toddlers and children.

Looking at these circumstances, Bank OCBC NISP cannot remain silent. Thursday, 7 September 2012, coordinating with law enforcement and local citizens, with the donations in the dorm of primary needs goods such as food, drink, medication and clothing for babies, children, and adults distributed to the refugees disaster victims of fire in Tambora

The donations was given by Mrs. Theresia Tini - Operartion Service Head, accompanied by Haryanto Lunardo - Operation Service Manager and Diardi Marwoto - Operation Service Supervisor office OCBC NISP Jembatan Lima, and representatives from CSR Unit - Corporate Communication Division. The donations were received directly by Mr. Widodo as the head of RW 09 accompanied by Mr. Ebin RT 08, as the head and also witnessed by the local residents.

On that occasion, Mr Widodo expressed their gratitude to Bank OCBC NISP who acts quickly and cares for the residents who become the victim of this disaster.
Bank OCBC NISP hopes that all of the donations as a form of concern and affection to surrounding communities can be beneficial, and good condition of the disaster victims can recover as soon as possible and always be in God Almighty.
