OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card as a Payment Tool

OCBC NISP Mastercard ATM/Debit Card can be used as legal tender and accepted by tens of millions of merchants and EDC machines bearing the Mastercard logo worldwide.

OCBC NISP Debit Card bearing the GPN logo (National Payment Gateway) can be used as legal tender and accepted by merchants and EDC machines bearing the GPN logo in Indonesia.

Merchant is an individual and/or company which in carrying out its business activities can accept OCBC NISP Debit Card as a means of payment.

EDC atau Electronic Data Capture is a means/machine for swiping cards used as a means of payment at merchants

Cara Bertransaksi dengan Kartu ATM/Debit OCBC NISP di Merchant

  1. Provide the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card to the merchant cashier, and then the cashier will swipe/insert the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card in the EDC machine and enter the payment transaction value. EDC will process data on the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card and will provide a response regarding whether the transaction is approved or rejected.
  2. If the transaction is approved or the word “Approval” on the EDC, the payment transaction slip (“Shopping Slip”) will be printed directly through the EDC according to the value of the payment transaction.
  3. Cardholders are required to use PIN for each payment transaction by first checking the transaction value listed on the EDC machine screen. For overseas transactions using the OCBC NISP Mastercard ATM/Debit Card, the Customer can use a PIN or signature.
  4. Failure to check the value of payment transactions by the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card Holder is a Cardholder's responsibility fully. OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Cardholders are required to keep a shopping slip to be matched with the debit to the account made by the Bank.
  5. For every payment transaction that occurs at the merchant, the account balance of the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card Holder will automatically decrease according to the number of payment transactions made at the merchant.

OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card Facility as an ATM Card

The OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card can be used for the following:

      • Other bank VISA/Mastercard Credit Cards in Indonesia
      • Telkom/Flexi/Speedy/Indihome

      • Pay TV (Indivision, Transvision, First Media)
      • And others
    • Book-entry/transfer between accounts at OCBC NISP, as well as other bank accounts in the ATM Bersama and PRIMA networks

    • OCBC NISP Credit Card balance and billing information

  2. Transactions on the ATM Bersama/PRIMA network:

Transaksi dalam Valuta Asing khusus Kartu ATM/ Debit OCBC NISP Premier Banking Mastercard

  1. Every transaction in foreign currency in the Mastercard merchant/ATM network will be subject to the exchange rate conversion set by Mastercard International and transaction fees between countries (cross-border fees) of the transaction amount.
  2. For Customers with foreign currency accounts, every transaction in foreign currencies will be subject to the buying and selling rate

Cardholders need to be aware of:

  1. Sign (according to KTP) the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card on the signature panel on the back of the card with a pen..
  2. PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a secret password consisting of 6 (six) digits required as access to be able to transact in
    1. ATM OCBC NISP, ATM Network Prima, Bersama
    2. OCBC Bank Singapore and MEPS Malaysia (only ATM/Debit Cards bearing the Mastercard logo).
  3. Cardholders are advised to change their PIN regularly. PIN change (6 digits) can be made at all OCBC NISP ATMs. Memorize your PIN and for your security, don't write down your PIN anywhere or tell anyone.
  4. Each OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card Holder is fully responsible for misuse of the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card by other parties caused by misuse of PIN numbers, either intentionally or due to negligence of the OCBC NISP ATM/ Debit Card Holder.
  5. Cardholders are required to use a PIN for every shopping transaction made at EDC merchant machines in Indonesia. Meanwhile, for shopping transactions made overseas, the Customer can use a PIN or signature.
  6. If the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card Holder finds an inappropriate or questionable transaction in his account, the Cardholder must immediately report the matter to Bank OCBC NISP for further investigation in accordance with the procedures and provisions regarding complaint handling applicable at Bank OCBC NISP.
  7. In the event of a system failure during the transaction process using an OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card, the Cardholder may contact TANYA OCBC NISP at 1500-999 or +62-21-26506300 (from overseas). Bank OCBC NISP will investigate and take action according to the type of incident that occurred to the Customer.
  8. For information and complaints regarding OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Cards, Cardholders can submit them directly to the nearest Bank OCBC NISP branch office or contact TANYA OCBC NISP at 1500-999 or +62-21-26506300 (from overseas). The estimated time for the complaint settlement process will be informed by the Bank OCBC NISP branch office staff/Call OCBC NISP.
  9. If the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card Holder wishes not to become an OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card Holder, the Cardholder may request for account closure at the Bank OCBC NISP branch office and return the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card owned by Bank OCBC NISP. With the closing of the OCBC NISP account and ATM/Debit Card, the person concerned can no longer use the service facilities available at Bank OCBC NISP.

Lost Card

  1. In the event of loss or theft of the OCBC NISP Debit Card, for the safety of the funds in the account, the Cardholder must immediately contact TANYA OCBC NISP at 1500-999. Based on the report, the Bank will block the OCBC NISP Debit Card.
  2. The Cardholder is responsible for all transactions made using the OCBC NISP Debit Card as long as the Bank has not received a report regarding the loss and/or theft of the OCBC NISP Debit Card from the Cardholder
  3. For the replacement of the lost or stolen OCBC NISP Debit Card, the Bank will charge a fee for the replacement of the new card to the Cardholder
  4. After reporting the lost card via TANYA OCBC NISP at 1500-999, the Cardholder immediately comes to the branch for the process of making a new card.

Customer Complaint

  1. The customer may submit a complaint or objection to Bank OCBC NISP orally or in writing.
  2. If the complaint or objection is made verbally, the Customer may contact TANYA OCBC NISP at 1500-999 or +62-21-26506300 (from overseas)
  3. If the complaint or objection is made in writing, the complaint must be accompanied by a photocopy of identity and other supporting documents as required by Bank OCBC NISP.
  4. Customers can also submit complaints or objections through the Bank's website at www.ocbcnisp.com or come to the nearest Bank OCBC NISP branch office.
  5. In the event that the Customer rejects the response to the complaint or objection from Bank OCBC NISP, the Customer may choose a dispute resolution through the court or out of court.
  6. In the event that the Customer submits a written objection and/or complaint, the Bank will resolve it no later than 20 (twenty) working days after the date of receipt of the written complaint.
  7. In the event that the Customer rejects the response to the objection and/or complaint from the Bank, the Customer may choose a dispute resolution through the court or out of court.

Etc

  1. All and/or part of the provisions in this guide are subject to change at any time. If there are changes to the provisions in this guide, you will be notified 30 working days in advance.

  3. The OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card is only used to make transactions that have been determined as referred to in this guide and Bank OCBC NISP is not responsible if the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card is used for other purposes.
  4. The OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card is fully owned by Bank OCBC NISP and must be returned immediately if requested by Bank OCBC NISP with prior notification to the customer.
  5. PThe use of the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card is entirely the responsibility of the Cardholder and Cardholders are prohibited from transferring the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card to any other party/anyone in any way and for any reason.
  6. The validity period of the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card is up to the month and year as stated on the card. If the validity period of the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card has expired and the Cardholder wishes to extend ownership of the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card, the Cardholder may request a replacement for the OCBC NISP ATM/Debit Card at any Bank OCBC NISP branch office by bringing the card old and self-identified.
