Jakarta, October 16th, 2020 – Bank OCBC NISP’s Sharia Business Unit commemorates its 11th anniversary by strengthening its digital-based services by providing convenience for customers in conducting banking transactions anytime anywhere. One among few innovations that is being carried out by Bank OCBC NISP is partnering with Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS). The collaboration allows Syariah customers to utilize the QRIS service to pay zakat, infaq, and cash waqf online. During this occasion, Head of Bank OCBC NISP’s Sharia Business Unit Koko Tjatur Rachmadi and Head of the National Zakat Retail Division BAZNAS Fitriansyah Agus Setiawan attended at this online partnership ceremonial event conducted in Jakarta.

This online payment (Zakat, Infaq and Cash Waqf) via QRIS through ONe Mobile application is a continuation of our efforts to provide convenience for our customers to have sharia-based products or services. We also express our appreciation to BAZNAS, because through this collaboration, we can strengthen our digital-based services. Moreover, Bank OCBC NISP's Sharia Business Unit also provides convenience for customers to be able to open the Hajj Mudharabah iB savings and the iB deposits from their home, anytime, anywhere through ONe Mobile.
The efforts of Bank OCBC NISP’s Sharia Business Unit in providing easy and profitable Sharia-based products and services have received appreciation from various parties. Recently, Bank OCBC NISP’s Sharia Business Unit received three awards at the Banking Service Excellence Awards 2020 held by Infobank Magazine and Marketing Research Indonesia (MRI). The awards received include 2nd Best Overall Performance, 1st Best Customer Service and 1st Best Walk-in Channel.
